Philipps-Universität Marburg strives to make its 2FA-Portal accessible in accordance with the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (HVBIT) of September 16,2019,implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Hessian Disability Equality Act (HessBGG).

This accessibility statement applies to the 2FA portal of Philipps-Universität Marburg,which can be accessed at 2fa.uni-marburg.de,2fa.hrz.uni-marburg.de,argus.uni-marburg.de.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

Due to the following exceptions,the 2FA portal including its mobile web views is partially compatible with the Hessian Ordinance on Barrier-free Information Technology (HVBIT) of September 16,2019 and the Ordinance on the Creation of barrier-free information technology in accordance with the Disability Equality Act (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung - BITV 2).

  • Partially missing alternative texts for images,graphics and maps.
  • Links can be incomprehensible.
  • The hierarchy of headings is sometimes not respected.
  • Some tables are not labeled correctly or are used to position content.
  • Some lists have only one entry or are not correctly labeled.
  • Automatically generated PDF files are sometimes not created in an accessible form.
  • The home page does not provide information in German Sign Language and Plain Language.

Justification

The development of a 2FA portal is very extensive and has multiple individual process steps. Therefore,failures in the area of accessibility are not entirely are not entirely avoidable.
